How we handle your information.
Plain language, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
Dr Peptide Ke is a doctor-led online clinic based in Kilifi, Mombasa and Nairobi. We decide how your personal information is used, which makes us the data controller. Contact: WhatsApp 0780 056 100 or 0787 174 213.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, location and the programme you ask about.
- Health information, collected during consultation and intake, limited to what is needed to plan your care safely.
- Records of your plan, deliveries, follow-ups and M-Pesa payments.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange the consultation.
- To provide care safely, keep accurate medical records, deliver and follow up.
- To send reminders and updates you have agreed to receive.
We use contact details on the basis of your consent and to take the steps you asked for. We process health information to provide medical care, as the Act allows, and keep it confidential.
Who sees it
Only the doctor and the minimum team needed to arrange your care and delivery. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. We never publish client photographs or identifiable stories. We share information with a laboratory or another clinician only when your care requires it and you have agreed.
WhatsApp and social media
Messages sent on WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms. Please do not post health questions in public comments; message us privately and we will move the conversation to a consultation. Our client community is set up so members' phone numbers are not visible to each other.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted after 12 months. Medical and payment records are kept for the periods required in Kenya.
Your rights
- Ask what information we hold about you and get a copy.
